Verhaert puts young minds to work with space data during the CASSINI Hackathon.
During the CASSINI Hackathon, Verhaert challenges students and young professionals to turn European space data into concrete solutions. Twice a year, teams from ten countries spend a weekend working on a social theme — from agriculture to healthcare. Each edition delivers fresh ideas and innovative applications.
The ten locations are virtually connected through a central livestream, followed by thousands of viewers across Europe. From a studio in Antwerp, the entire weekend is hosted and coordinated — from the kickoff to jury feedback and final pitches.
This way, the CASSINI Hackathon positions itself as a well-orchestrated international event where innovation, communication and next-generation thinking come together seamlessly.
