How UNU-WIDER addresses one of the world's biggest challenges through a hybrid conference.

In September 2023, UNU-WIDER hosted the #Rev4Dev conference, which focused on how better financial governance and tax management can have a huge impact on the development of countries in the Global South.

By elevating the physical gathering in Oslo to a fully-fledged hybrid conference, experts from across the globe had the opportunity to share their invaluable insights, creating an engaging experience for both those present in person and those attending virtually.

It was inspiring to witness the exchange of knowledge, innovative ideas, and the commitment to tackling some of the world’s most pressing issues!

Thanks to our innovative compact mobile hybrid conference setups, we were able to provide the hybrid experience across four separate rooms simultaneously, all while minimizing the need for equipment transport to just one van.
